Aargh! Photos!

I REALLY struggle with taking good photos (particularly as I am using a very old standard digital camera- nothing swishy at all!)  I often think they are ok, but when I get them on the screen I find the colour didn’t come out right on any of them!

Well, I came across a blog post by Sonja Marshall-Bone, which is very helpful!  As I tend to use the photos as they come from the camera – here are some tips for working with them once they are done.  Check it out!

While we’re admiring her work… here is the cutest pair of earrings from her Etsy shop

  1. Photography is something I’ve struggled with as well. What I get from the camera is rarely what I really wanted. Another “tip” I tell people to explore is the Levels command in their photo editing software. It works much better than a “brighten/contrast” effect.

Thanks so much for posting my earrings, and so glad you found my blog post helpful. Here’s a direct link to that blog post to help you find it, http://sonjamarshallbone.blogspot.com/2010/02/jewelry-photo-improvement-work-faster.html
